About Us
David Baillie
David means “be loved” as I have been learning and teaching on my spiritual journey with All Beings (Souls) and as an ECKist. I practice as a Kinesiologist, Masseur, Naturopath, Rebirther and Spiritual Ecologist. My naturopathic practice started in 1979, in Invercargill and in 1987 moved to the Natural Health Centre in Dunedin. I teach health sciences and natural therapies and was the founding principal of the College of Health until its closure in1995. I now practice as “David Baillie”. In 2001 Lorraine and I became guardians of Harmony Farm (20ha of native forest in Waitati 11km north of Dunedin) and we have been building little cabins (with cob earth and eco-friendly materials), wild forage gardens, trails, organic permaculture gardens; and teaching forest gardening and eco-building. We work with hand tools and eco-friendly building materials; dwelling within earth walls that breathe; and live part-time in a “quiet” forest with many bird, insect, animal, medicinal plant friends. As a member of ECKANKAR I love helping with ECK Worship Services, Memorial Services, and have a personal interest in rites of passage for young adults.
